This project began during the Covid-19 lockdown. As a film composer, it’s rare to work without a director or producer giving strict guidance on where the music should go.
But sometimes that freedom is exactly what I need. For this album, instead of mixing it myself, as I usually do, I asked my friend Gijs van Klooster to handle the mix for Passage of Perception.
I’m very proud of this record — it’s something I had always wanted to create, but wasn’t sure if I could pull off. Turns out, I could.
